Welcome to my site, I’m Ben Loyd Holmes and this is the home of everything I do. I used to have a detailed website about me and what I did, but I abandoned it focussing on my businesses Actually doing rather than talking about it. However I’m told it’s time to bring it back.

Rule number 1, give people what they want.. right?

Jokes aside in a world of endless social engagement so many lovely supporters wanted to find out more about what I do, what my team does and what we can all get involved as a community to make things better.

Use the Menu to find what you’re most interested in, read below or head over to the blog.

Let’s build together

It’s the responsibility of those who can, to help those who can’t.

Ben Loyd Holmes

If you’re here you’ll likely already know me for one thing or the other. I’m someone that’s reinvented myself a few times over, not for any other reason than trying to find happiness and success. Leaving home at a young age meant finding my way in life was a process and one that would include the odd mistake and the odd change of path.

There’s nothing wrong with changing your path. If you’re not happy about something it’s not just ok to make a change, it’s necessary. We should all chase happiness like our life depends on it, because it does.

You may know me from my previous work in the media or through my business or quite probably through my work for worthy causes. That’s what I am most passionate about, working to spread knowledge of what is right and wrong in the world and what we can all do to make things a bit better. There’s 8 billion people in the world, the, choices, the small differences we all make add up to something HUGE.

I am so appreciative of the people that support those causes so if you’re one of those people, I have to say a huge thanks.

You can have anything, but not everything.

If I had a book of Ben Loyd Holmes quotes… these two would be in it, for sure. I say them both all the time.

1 – It’s the responsibility of those who can, to help those who can’t. You have to help those you can. For me animals top the list, they often need out help and are often over looked. But also, of course people. Be it a random homeless person you can offer a helping hand, or a friend, that you remember to check up on. Give what you can, even if it’s nothing by time or an ear. Honestly, it can make the world of difference. It can save a life. If you’re struggling, it’s ok to prioritise you. It’s ok to reach out and ask for that help.

2 – You can have anything, but not everything. This is a hard one for so many people. We are all sold on the American Dream, the Disney narrative or what some YouTuber / TikTok star has told us about how to can have it all. The reality is much less clickbait / fun/ easy/ attractive. The reality is we all have choices to make and I really believe we can pretty much have anything.. just not everything. The things we want will almost always come and the cost of something else. Go to the right, you lost the left. Go high, you lose the low. Build a wildly successful career or business, your personal life will probably suffer. Need to save quickly for a deposit for a house or a big purchase, you’ll have to give up a lot on that journey. Make the choice that gets you where you want to be. Time will pass no matter what. Choose carefully what you get at the end of that period.

Swimming with Crocodiles

“Hey aren’t you the guy that went swimming with crocodiles” someone called out across a crowded party at a villa in Cannes. I have to admit, it’s one of the those moments when you feel kinda cool. For those of you that don’t know I did indeed go Swimming with Crocodiles in the wild. You can see more of that here or you can watch this clip from the interview on Sony Professionals.

It was a real privilege to be featured and interviewed by Sony Professionals about this adventure. Something I did just for myself, my own personal adventure but that lead on to something very special.
